The work NON SITE evokes from the headstone inscribed with the epitaph IN MEMORY 13.11.02. – 7.12.02 the installation performed on the roof of the Gallery Animal between those dates. In this new intervention we recreate the perimeters of the roof by means of strokes made from string, ribbons and stakes, restoring spells on routes and lines leading from one place to another, and occupying it for the materials whose vulnerability was transient and exposed to disappear. Taking account of the non-place of the new construction site as well as ourselves, we hired two models to dress in the costume we usually use in our performances, and on the the opening day they wandered around inside the marked perimeter, pretending to be the artists and disorienting the viewer.
